The tool enables users to input project cost data and see
how it compares against a recognised external benchmark.
The tool allows data collection for capital costs and lifecycle /
operational against the following four headings:
Once data is input, the tool allows for normalisation against the
following:

- Location
- Constrainsts
- Security
- Environmental standards
- Economies of scale
The PCM (price comparator module) is an internet based data
collection and normalisation tool - designed and built by us to
improve data management and produce benchmarks to a consistent best
practice methodology.
The user can get access to benchmarked information applicable to
any building function and method of construction, adjusting results
to make applicable to user requirements.
As well as outputing chart data the system gives a complete audit
trail of which projects were used to produce the benchmanrk, giving
further details of each if needed.
